FREAKquency Noir is an avant-garde musical production chronicling the sub and counterculture renaissance of Black and African LGBTQ+ creative provocateurs pushing the boundaries of sound

FREAKquency Noir reflects the world we live in, where art and the artist must speak to the times. This groundbreaking creation champions diversity, representation, and positive social change, with a focus on amplifying the voices of marginalized communities—particularly Black and African LGBTQ+ creatives and visionaries who often lack visibility in the mainstream. As the first of its kind, FREAKquency Noir centers on the stories and experiences of progressive and experimental Black and African musicians, highlighting their profound influence on global culture. The series also works to raise awareness of different sexual orientations and gender identities, challenging stereotypes and breaking down misconceptions. Through authentic portrayals, it humanizes experiences that might be unfamiliar to some, ultimately reducing prejudice and promoting greater acceptance.
