DJ Jhanée is a boundary-pushing DJ, tattooist, and Afro-futurist artist native of Baltimore, Maryland based in Chicago, Illinois whose work embodies the essence of FREAKquency Noir—bold, unapologetic, and revolutionary. As a Black, experimental creative, DJ Jhanée merges sound, ink, and visionary artistry to challenge norms, and carve out space for marginalized voices. Their DJ sets are immersive sonic journeys, blending experimental beats with deep ancestral rhythms, while their tattoo artistry transforms bodies into canvases of self-expression and empowerment. Rooted in Afro-futurism, their work envisions a future where Black creatives thrive, unbound by societal limitations. Through their artistry, DJ Jhanée amplifies voices that demand to be heard, forging a world where authenticity reigns supreme.
